Thing 3

To save time I'm cutting and pasting some of the prompt questions here. What do you like about RSS and newsreaders? I like that they update themselves and are easy to access in one spot.
How do you think you might be able to use this technology in your school or personal life? I like the idea of using it in my professional life as a resource for a variety of media center related information. There were several sample feeds I really like (particularly Unshelved- the Library Cartoon feed).
I just figured out today that I had suscribed to feeds on my computer at home and put them in Microsoft feeds. I found how easy they are to access on the list and had been on my computer for some time but I didn't realize it until working on this project.

Thing 2

Finding time will happen. Here I am on a Friday night in front of my computer doing this. I wanted to participate in 23 Things on a Stick so that I can learn new things. To me this will be a great challenge. I don't have much knowledge of Web 2.0 tools but feel I need to learn so I will be able to use them with students in my library.

Thing #1

I created my blog. I spent an enormous amount of time trying to create an avatar but couldn't do it without creating another account. I would make one if I didn't need to open another account. There are a ton of websites which allow you to create avatars but then you have to have an account with them to use them. Perhaps if anyone has ideas I'll come back to this and attempt it again later.

Hello

This is my very first blog. I'm working on the 23 Things on a Stick project.
